Dragon Ball Z Kakarot announced at E3 2019

Ever since Dragon Ball Super concluded back in 2018, the franchise has been continuously dishing out content for fans in the form of games, movies and even spin-off series. Fans may remember last year when Bandai Namco announced their next upcoming game, Dragon Ball Project Z. Yesterday at the official E3 2019 broadcast, the game was finally revealed under a new name, Dragon Ball Z Kakarot.

If you loved playing Xenoverse and Dragon Ball fighter Z, then you are absolutely going to love Bandai Namco’s next title. The game is an action RPG game that follows the story of Goku similar to what happened in the anime. The trailer revealed some epic clashes between Goku and the Saiyans Nappa and Vegeta. Later we also get to see Goku transform into a Super Saiyan to face off against Frieza.

Fans were also shown some early gameplay footage which showed the vast open-world of Dragon Ball. The game functions entirely as an RPG with a focus on fighting mechanics that include epic fast-paced battles and impressive cinematic cutscenes. The graphics and cel-shaded style of the game is visually stunning and looks very similar to Dragon Ball fighter Z but even better.
