Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 launched back in 2016, where it was positively received by fans and critics alike. The game has been praised for its art style, gameplay mechanics, multiplayer online gameplay and much more. It’s one of those rare Dragon Ball games that places emphasis on RPG elements as opposed to the simple 2.5D and 3D fighting games from the previous titles.
Though there has been some controversy over the games continuing support even after three years. Some think that the publisher is “milking” as much money as they can by releasing pricey DLC packs. Others support the publisher’s frequent releases and consider it a welcome change.
With Dragon Ball Z Kakarot being announced as well, fans are once again taking to the older titles to support the developers. The game promises to provide a fresh new take on the classic Dragon Ball experience, allowing players to relive the nostalgic moments from the Dragon Ball Z anime series. Dragon Ball Z Kakarot isn’t expected to launch till 2020, so there’s enough time for fans to dig into some older Dragon Ball games.
