After its successful release on the big screens, Dragon Ball Super Broly will now have its very own manga series. Although the original DBS manga did not tell the events of DBS Broly, the upcoming Dragon Ball Super Broly Manga will tell its own tale of the events.

There is still some time left before the manga is officially released in Japan, but in the meantime, some images of the manga were published online in a special preview. New character designer Naohiro Shintani dropped the first cover of the manga. The new manga will be a fully colored adaptation of the movie’s events.

The preview images of the manga tease a faithful recreation of the events of the movie. The manga will be released in Japan on May 2 and will be sold at a price of 1400 yen or about $12.56 USD.

The adaptation of the movie into a manga series shows just how successful the film is. Moreover, The manga will be colored instead of the usual black and white, hence it is expected to be sold rapidly as well. Although the movie was released in Japan and the USA, the movie is yet to be released in other countries. However, Chinese fans can finally celebrate as the movie will soon be out in China.

To celebrate the Chinese release, fans of the franchise dropped a new poster for the film, especially for the Chinese fans. The poster gives a fresh new look for the film. The movie has already earned a massive sum of $110 million USD since its release. Making it one of the most successful Dragon Ball films ever created. The amount is expected to soar even higher with a large number of Chinese fans eagerly waiting for the movie’s release. The film will be out on May 24 and will be available on Blu-ray and DVD.
